Emanoil Shafik, DPM

Emanoil Shafik DPM is a podiatric physician and foot and ankle surgeon specializing in comprehensive foot and ankle care.He is committed to providing evidence-based, patient-centered care with an emphasis on restoring function, relieving pain, and improving quality of life. Dr. Shafik believes that every patient deserves compassionate, individualized treatment. He takes the 
time to understand each patient's goals and develops personalized treatment plans using both conservative and surgical approaches to achieve the best possible outcomes.

 
Dr. Shafik earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. He completed an intensive three-year surgical residency in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery with added credentialing in Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery (PMSR/RRA) at Richmond University Medical Center in Staten Island, New York. During residency, he received extensive training in advanced foot and ankle reconstruction, diabetic limb salvage, wound care, trauma, sports medicine, elective forefoot surgery, and minimally invasive surgical techniques. He also worked alongside specialists in vascular surgery, plastic surgery, orthopedic surgery, infectious diseases, and emergency medicine, providing multidisciplinary care for complex lower extremity conditions. 

In addition to his surgical training, Dr. Shafik has pursued graduate education in healthcare administration and earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA), strengthening his understanding of healthcare leadership, quality improvement, and patient-centered systems of care. Dr. Shafik remains dedicated to lifelong learning and staying current with advances in foot and ankle surgery through continuing medical education and professional development. He is passionate about incorporating modern surgical techniques and evidence-based practices to optimize patient recovery and long-term outcomes. 

Outside of the clinic and operating room, Dr. Shafik enjoys spending quality time with his wife, daughter, and their Siberian Husky. Whether exploring the outdoors, traveling, or simply enjoying time together at home, he values the balance that family life brings and believes it strengthens the compassion and dedication he brings to caring for his patients.
